Anne Bittner

Anne Bittner (nee Kilgannon) of Orangeburg, and formerly of Pearl River, entered her eternal life on November 23. Anne was born in New York City to Thomas and Linda Kilgannon from County Sligo, Ireland, and was raised in the Bronx. She was predeceased by her husband, Louis, her son, Thomas, her brother, Patrick Kilgannon and his wife Katherine and brother-in-law, James Boyle. She is survived by her loving sister, Kathleen “Kate” Boyle of Sparkill, nephews, James and Robert Boyle, daughter-in-law, Bernadette Carty Bittner, as well as many other beloved cousins, relatives and friends.
Following her graduation from St. Luke’s parish school, Anne attended Walton High School. In 1963 Anne started working for Old London Foods in the Bronx. After 47 years of dedicated work, Anne retired from her position as an accounting manager with Old London in 2010.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Monday 10 AM at Our Lady of the Sacred Heart RC Church, Tappan with interment to follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Valhalla. Visiting hours are Sunday 3-7 PM at Pizzi Funeral Home, 120 Paris Ave, Northvale, NJ (201-767-3050).
