John was indeed a friend to all who knew him. I loved how he loved life and always looked ahead and not back. His lovely children are a tribute to his great parenting. His wife was a glowing result of how he loved her and took care of her. He will be missed but never forgotten. I was priveleged to have met him.
My condolences to the entire Verdigi family. The last time I spoke to Johnny was about 36 years ago. I had the pleasure of traveling throughout Europe with him for 2 & a half months in the summer of ’79. I remember him missing Cathy everyday (this was before kids) & him loving his pearl white Corvette! To his Mom, Dad & Jill (I know them best), my heart goes out to you guys losing both your boys. When I knew them both, they both lived life to the fullest. Joe was one of my best friends in high school & I couldn’t have ask for a better person to travel through Europe with than Johnny. I have great memories of both of them, and for that I am truly blessed.
Very sad you had to leave your family so soon. Peace be with you – RIP –
Dearest Cathy,
My heart goes out to you and your family. You will be in my thoughts and prayers…
