Vincent Ferrara, 82, of Northvale, passed away on Thursday, April 12, 2018. Beloved husband of Rosemary (nee Viscuglia). Devoted father of Lisa Carbaugh and husband Rick of Northvale, Christopher Ferrara and wife Vitalina of Norwood and Lorraine Catalano and husband Anthony of Ridgefield, CT. Proud grandfather of Stephanie, Christina, Marisa, Robert, Anthony and Francesca. Dearest brother of Mary Faggione, Tony Ferrara and wife Carol and the late Felicia, Charles and Angelina.
Vincent worked 10 years in the family business, Ferrara Bros. Meat Market before joining the Cement and Concrete Workers Union Local 6 in Flushing, retiring after 20 years. A dedicated husband, father and grandfather, he was a fun-loving man and especially enjoyed bowling and trips to Atlantic City.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Wednesday 10 AM at St. Anthony’s RC Church, Northvale with interment to follow at St. Charles Cemetery, Farmingdale, NY. Visiting hours are Tuesday 4-8 PM at Pizzi Funeral Home, 120 Paris Ave, Northvale (201-767-3050).
