Mary Ann Trasmundi (nee Witham), 77, of Dumont, passed away on Tuesday, May 1, 2018. Beloved wife of the late Emil. Devoted mother of MaryLynn LaMarca and husband Greg of Paramus, Elizabeth Trasmundi of Philadelphia, PA, Annette Mattesich and husband Marty of Northvale, Kim Porto of Paramus and Anthony Trasmundi and wife Brenda of Dumont. Cherished “Gooma” of Nicholas, Christian, Jake, Emily, Emil, Carly, Natalie and Alana. Dearest sister of Rose Mary Cagle and was predeceased by seven brothers and sisters. Loving aunt of many nieces and nephews.
Mary was the founder of The Growing Garden Nursery School in Paramus. A devoted wife, mother and grandmother, she enjoyed flowers and tending to her garden and was an official member of the Clay Aiken Fan Club.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Monday 10 AM at St. Anthony’s RC Church, Northvale with interment to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington. Visiting hours are Sunday 2-8 PM at Pizzi Funeral Home, 120 Paris Ave, Northvale (201-767-3050).
