  1. Hey Rick,
Although most people will think of you as tough and sometimes grumpy, I know the loving Husband, Father, Brother and Friend you were. You became my father figure when dad passed, you taught me about life, the good and the ugly. You taught me sarcasm, humor and how to make up names for everyone you met. You taught me how to fish, you were there for me when I was in trouble and though I expected to get wacked, instead you hugged me and told me you were there for me. (Never Say Anything to Cops!) You helped buy Jeanette’s wedding ring and drove me to the city to get the best deal. You were our chauffeur on our wedding night, even in the snow. You are the Godfather to my daughter. You gave me a job when I needed it and helped me start my life with my family. Your Wife, your Children and Family always came first. This was something you not only spoke of but showed every day of your life. You loved to make everyone laugh. You were a frustrated chef. This will be your legacy as I see these traits in all your family. I love you brother, say hi to Mom and Dad for me.

  2. Jeanette Carney

Richard was the first brother I met when Joe took me to my first Giants football game. He seemed a bit stern but as time passed that proved not to be the case. When my sister passed away he took me aside and spoke to me like a brother would. I never forgot that. Joe and I were so happy when he agreed to be Jessica’s godfather. You will be missed by many family and friends you love you.

  3. May God prove to be a source of comfort to the family during this difficult time. (2 Corinthians 1:3,4)

  4. Good times with the Bands in the 60’s.The illusion with your Farfisa organ and the utmost made some memorable times at St Anthony’s CYO Dances.
