  1. My deepest condolences to all the Cahills especially to Pat. Johnny was such a good friend to me for many years. I loved him like a brother i never had. He was very good to me and my family . When I bartended at the full moon alone on Tuesday’s he came and stayed with me all night. It wasn’t the best of neighborhoods and he didn’t want me to be alone. Even though he had to be at work in the morning .
John and Pat always included susan and I in all family events, weddings and christening . I saw all the girls grow up . I felt so close to them and can’t believe he is gone . I understand he wasn’t well and of course I wouldn’t want him to suffer so I hope he’s resting in peace and knows how much he will be missed and in our hearts forever .

  2. Margie, Tim, James and Molly Hanson

As we were explaining to James last night why we were sad, I said he was Grandma snd Grampy’s friend and Aunt Eileen and Uncle Pat’s friend and Tim said, he was everyone’s friend. And that was exactly right I thought. The biggest smile I saw anytime, anywhere! Thank you for being part of so many great memories in our lives! Rest In Peace!

  3. Thanks for the Memory!
    Awfully glad I met you
    Cheerio and toodle-oo
    Thank you!

  4. Carol Ann Carroll

Johnny came into my life when I was just 8. He became my big brother before my brother in law. He was always there for me, like many others. 1 memory of his kindness I will never forget; I called him crying because I didn’t have diapers and no money. He met me in parking lot, held me while I cried, then filled my shopping cart with what I needed. He “guided” me through my teens and “bar” years LOL. He would help anyone who asked. The unofficial mayor of Middle Village. He was genuine. I loved him but know it was his time for eternal peace. His actions throughout his life brought many memories to those he touched . Love you Johnny, I’m happy you are at peace. You will live on in many hearts. XXXOOO
