Eugene L. Nicolini, 90, of Northvale, formerly of Bronx, NY, passed away at home on Monday, October 8, 2012. Dear husband of the late Genevieve (nee Brutkowski).
A World War II Veteran, he served in the US Army as a Corporal in the European Theater. He was a former employee of NYC Transit (MABSTOA) as a dispatcher. Eugene was a member of the Fraternal Order of Red Men, Half Moon Tribe 283 in Northvale for many years.
Devoted father of Lorraine Nicolini of Northvale. Cherished grandfather of Christine Whitlock of Boston, MA and Michael Whitlock of Northvale. Dear brother of Arthur and his wife Frances of Katonah, NY. Predeceased by his twin brother Lino and brother Alfred. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Friday 10:00 AM at St. Anthony’s RC Church, Northvale with interment to follow at Tappan Cemetery. Visiting hours are Thursday 2-4 and 7-9 PM at the Anthony R. Pizzi Funeral Home, 120 Paris Avenue, Northvale.
