Antoinette P. ”Bella” Yammarino

Antoinette P. (Bella) Yammarino (nee Calcagno), 99, of Closter, NJ, passed away on Sunday, February 27, 2022. She grew up in Brooklyn where she met her late husband, Bruno. After marriage in 1957, they moved to Closter to start a family. Beloved mother of Laura Haney and her husband Paul of Lewes, DE and Joseph Yammarino and his wife Paola of Closter. Cherished grandmother of Jacqueline (Zachary), Michelle, Danielle, Stephanie, Joseph Bruno, Jared and Jonathan. Dearest sister of the late Mary Lero and Eleanor Brennessel.

Antoinette was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. And she was “Auntie Bella” to many, many others.  She loved cooking, volunteering and doing crafts, but most of all she cherished time spent with family.

Visiting hours are Wednesday, March 2, 2022 from 4-7 PM at Pizzi Funeral Home, 120 Paris Avenue, Northvale, NJ (201-767-3050). A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Thursday, March 3, 2022 at 10 AM at St. Mary’s RC Church, Closter with entombment to follow at St. John’s Cemetery, Middle Village, NY.
