Catherine M. Doherty (nee West), 79, a longtime resident of Northvale, passed away at home on Saturday, December 22, 2012. Beloved wife of the late James Doherty. Catherine is survived by her children; Catherine and her husband Gerard Johnson of Northvale, James Doherty and his wife Allison of Wantage, Patricia Doherty of Northvale; Martin Doherty and his wife Lynn of West Milford, Michael Doherty and his wife GloriaAnn of West Milford, David Doherty and his wife Nancy of Miller Place, NY, and MaryEllen and her husband Joseph Malley of Westwood, NJ. Cherished
grandmother of Dan, Sean, and Nick Johnson, James and Justine Doherty, Shayla
Doherty, Matthew, Patrick and Timothy Doherty, Kathleen, Deirdre, Martin, and
Brendan Doherty, and Ryan, Shane, and Tyler Malley. Survived also by brother Edward West of Secaucus, NJ and sisters Claire West of Fairfax, Virginia, Regina Weigelt of Cliffside Park, NJ, and Mary Praysner and her husband Edward of Northvale. Also survived by many loving relatives and friends. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Friday 10:00 AM at St. Anthony’s RC Church, Northvale with interment to follow at St. Charles Cemetery, Gardiner, NY.
