Mary A. Larca (nee Romano), 84, of Nanuet, NY, passed away on Monday, August 22, 2022. Beloved wife of the late Frederick. Cherished mother of Deborah Larca and the late Salvatore Larca. Adored grandmother of Lisa Edler and her husband Scott. Dearest sister of Salvatore and Norma Romano and Ann and Philip Froio. Also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
Mary was a devoted and caring wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend. An excellent cook, her family was her world and she will be forever missed.
Visiting hours are Wednesday, August 24, 2022 from 4-8 PM at Pizzi Funeral Home, 120 Paris Avenue, Northvale, NJ (201-767-3050). A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday, August 25, 2022 at 11:30 AM at St. Anthony’s RC Church, Nanuet with interment to follow at St. Anthony’s Cemetery.

One of my most fond memories of Mary was when she cooked an incredible home made Italian dinner for Deborah and me at her home in Nanuet as a special date night with candle lights and then gave Deb & me alone time. She was such a joy with a beautiful smile, and lots of laughter over six years ago. Mary’s posted picture is exactly the way I remember her as a mother filled with pride, honor and love for her family and friends.
