Waldine N. Bodrato

Waldine N. Bodrato (nee Foppiano), 95, of Northvale, passed away surrounded by her loving family on Thursday, June 22, 2023. Beloved wife of the late Arthur A. Bodrato for 66 years. Cherished mother of Briant and his wife Kathleen of Northvale. Adored grandmother of Christopher Bodrato, Ashley Bodrato Panella and her husband Michael. Grandma to her fur babies Pierce, Jax and Dutch who she loved spending her days with. 

Waldine was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. 

Waldine was secretary for the Northvale Planning Board. She served as the Treasurer for many years on the Northvale Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary. She also served as the Treasurer and President of the Democratic Club. Waldine was a lifetime parishioner of St. Anthony’s Church. She loved to spend time with her family and friends and talk to her friends and family on the phone every day. She will be forever remembered for her historical knowledge of Northvale being a resident for 95 years, her kind heart, amazing Italian dishes and her true genuine spirit. She will be missed dearly by all her family and friends. 

Visiting hours are Tuesday, June 27, 2023 from 7-9 PM and Wednesday, June 28, 2023 from 2-4 & 7-9 PM at Pizzi Funeral Home, 120 Paris Ave, Northvale. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Anthony’s on Thursday, June 29, 2023 10:00 AM with interment to follow at Rockland Cemetery, Sparkill, NY.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Northvale Volunteer Fire Department, PO Box 101, Northvale, NJ 07647.

    Dear Briant and family, I am so sorry to hear of the passing of your beloved mother and grandmother. May she rest in peace and may you find comfort in knowing she lived a good and long life. She was a wonderful Wife, Mother and Grandmother. I will always remember her kindness and her volunteer work. I know that she will be missed.
