Laura Capparelli

Laura Capparelli, 51, of Greenwood Lake, NY, passed away on Friday, August 4, 2023. She was the devoted mother of Gianna and Isabella and the cherished daughter of Mario and Maria Capparelli.  Loving sister of Pasquale Capparelli and his wife Alexandra, Sandra Clements and her husband Joseph and Cristina Fassbender and her husband William. Beloved aunt of Dena, Julia, Jenna and Mia and is also survived by many loving relatives and friends.

Laura was a fun, bubbly and courageous woman who was an outstanding cook and baker. She had a strong faith in God and loved nature, especially gardening, tending her flowers, being at the lake and enjoying the humming birds. She loved to sing and knew the lyrics to practically every song.  Laura was very comical and enjoyed talking for hours. She was a wonderful mother, daughter, sister, aunt and friend and will be missed by all who knew her.

Visiting hours are Wednesday, August 9, 2023 from 4-7 PM at Pizzi Funeral Home, 120 Paris Avenue, Northvale, NJ.

  3. Laura, I know I only knew you for a short time, but you made a huge impact in my life for those last few months. Your love for your children, family and friends blew me away. The love I have for you and will continue to have for eternity will never go unnoticed. Thank you for being there for me and helping me when I needed it the most. I was devastated when your sister called to tell me. Please rest easy as I love you now and always. Thank you for saving my life in that hospital. I will love you forever and always and like I promised you in the hospital I will get better. If your family ever needs anything please reach out. Uncle Matt and I talk about you all the time and laugh so hard about what an amazing person you were. Please rest easy my friend, the lord is protecting you.
