Flora F. Seligman (nee Schwickrath), 100, of Norwood, NJ, passed away on Sunday, November 19, 2023. Beloved wife of the late Bertram Seligman. Loving mother of Albert and Arthur and his wife Susan. Proud grandmother of Brian and David. Dearest sister of Betty Olszak and was predeceased by seven brothers and sisters.
Visitation will be Tuesday, November 28, 2023 from 10-11 AM with a service at 11 AM at Pizzi Funeral Home, 120 Paris Ave, Northvale, NJ. Interment to follow at Tappan Cemetery, Tappan, NY.
Dearest Family and close friends of Flora,
I thought Flora would outlive us all; truly one of the kindest, most generous and interesting ladies God Himself, has ever created. There is just too much to say about her contributions to everyone in her corner of the world; animals, plants, people. She has taken her intuition, her compassion and street smarts with her, for the benefit of those who need her up there; I know this. She will be seeing my own dear mother and father shortly. It is not good bye …NO ! No no no ! Keep the kettle filled up and warm for us … I have a recipe for blueberry scones you’ll like …thank you
I used to work with Flora at Alfin Fragrances. She was an amazing and wonderful person. We had many laughs and many heartfelt conversations. Flora was one of the kindest people I ever met and she always spoke about her grandsons with a smile on her face. Flo also had more energy than a 20 year old. My heartfelt condolences to all her family and friends. I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers.
