Susan E. Sibbio (nee Dellaguardia), 86, a longtime resident of Nanuet, died at the Joe Raso Hospice Residence in New City on Tuesday, July 16, 2013. Beloved wife of the late Louis. Devoted mother of Susan and Danny Cooke of Nanuet and Louis, Jr. and Melissa of Land O’ Lakes, FL. Cherished grandmother of Lauren, Sean, Sofia and Amelia. Predeceased by her sister, Lucy Porcelli and two brothers, Dominick and John and his wife Diane. Mrs. Sibbio is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews. She was a dressmaker for 20 years for Rubenstein and Horowitz in the Bronx, but her real life’s work was her family. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Friday 10:00 AM at St. Anthony’s RC Church, Northvale, NJ with interment to follow at St. Anthony’s Cemetery, Nanuet. Visiting hours are Thursday 2-4 and 7-9 PM at the Anthony R. Pizzi Funeral Home, 120 Paris Ave, Northvale.
