Salvatore Gallucci, 84, of Cresskill, formerly of New Milford, Haworth and Jupiter, FL, passed away on Saturday, December 28, 2013. Beloved husband of Erma. Loving father of Nancy Scott and her husband Joseph of Alpine, Glen and his wife Jane of Haworth and Gail Mayer and her husband Gene of Haworth. Cherished grandfather of eight and great-grandfather of thirteen. Dear brother of Florence Martyniak.
Salvatore was a Civil Engineer in NYC. He was a US Navy Veteran of WWII and belonged to the New Milford VFW. He was also a councilman in New Milford and served as police commissioner.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Monday 10:00 AM at St. Anthony’s RC Church, Northvale. Visiting hours are Sunday 2-5 PM at the Pizzi Funeral Home, 120 Paris Avenue, Northvale.
