
Edna Ann Cwirko (nee Frola), 89, of Norwood, New Jersey, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, July 8, 2025. A lifelong resident of Norwood, Edna carried her warmth and generosity into every corner of her community. Her gentle spirit and unwavering devotion to family shaped the lives of everyone fortunate enough to know her.
Edna was the beloved wife of the late Richard Cwirko. She was a loving mother to Jeffrey and his wife Lorei and the late Ricky Cwirko. As a grandmother, she took immense pride in Jeffrey and his wife Nicole, Hillary and her husband Jason, and Travis and his girlfriend Stacey. In her later years, Edna’s heart expanded even more as she became the adored great-grandmother to Ryan, Maddison, Aiden, Skylar, Evan, and Harper.
Sisterhood was central to Edna’s sense of self—she cherished lifelong bonds with her sister Louise and her brother Louis. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends who will carry her memory forward.

- A talented bowler whose competitive spirit brought laughter and camaraderie to her league
- A graceful roller-skater and spirited majorette in her youth, delighting crowds with every twirl
- Proud matriarch, always beaming at family gatherings and celebrations, especially those featuring her great-grandchildren
Edna’s vibrant personality was matched only by her devotion. Whether organizing church events or cheering from the sidelines at a great grandchild’s game, she made everyone feel cherished.
