Edith Giusto (nee DiMatteo), 102, of the Bronx, passed away on Saturday, December 27, 2025. Beloved mother of Lorraine Bagnoli (late husband Vincent) and Patrick Giusto. Proud grandmother of Craig (wife Jenna), Gary, Cindy and Emily. Adored great-grandmother of Peyton and Rose Gloria. Dearest sister of the late Sam DiMatteo, Ernest DiMatteo and Mary Loro.
Edith was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She was a devout Catholic and was a parishioner of Mt. Carmel in the Bronx and later at St. Pius X in Old Tappan. Edith was a teacher’s aide at Grace Dodge High School in the Bronx for many years.
Visiting hours are Friday, January 9, 2026 from 3-7 PM at Pizzi Funeral Home, 120 Paris Ave, Northvale, NJ. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Saturday, January 10, 2026 at 10 AM at St. Pius X RC Church, 268 Old Tappan Rd, Old Tappan, NJ. Entombment will follow at Garden of Memories, Washington Twp., NJ.
