Dominick Venanzi, 83, of Old Tappan, NJ, passed away on Tuesday, June 30, 2026. Beloved husband of 56 years to Annette (nee Imbemba). Dominick was predeceased by his parents, Crispoldo and Antoinette, his sister Ida and his brothers, Anthony and Dante. Dearest brother-in-law of Rosemarie Mirabella and husband Thomas Gennari and the late James “Gene” Imbemba. Cherished uncle of Lou Nash and wife Josie, Gary Nash and wife Kim, Dr. Vincent Mirabella, Matthew Mirabella, Esq. and wife Mikayla and Sophia Mirabella. Loving great-uncle of David, Kayla and Olivia.
Dominick was a US Army Veteran. He was a Firefighter for the City of Hackensack for over 30 years and rose to the rank of Captain. He then worked at Volvo in Rutherford for many years. Dominick was a devoted parishioner of St. Pius X Church in Old Tappan.
Visiting hours are Tuesday, July 7, 2026 from 4-7 PM at Pizzi Funeral Home, 120 Paris Ave, Northvale, NJ. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Wednesday, July 8, 2026 at 10 AM at St. Pius X Church, Old Tappan with interment to follow at St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Hackensack, NJ.
