Pat and Vince spent their retirement years enjoying life by playing golf and actively involving themselves in many social activities at a retirement community in Toms River, New Jersey.  She spent her last two years under the loving care of the staff at the Care One at the Cupola in Paramus, New Jersey.

Paul A. Flynn

Paul A. Flynn, longtime resident of Norwood, NJ and recently of Irvine, CA, passed away on August 21st. As most of the country celebrated the historic solar eclipse, his loved ones celebrated his historic life with their eyes to the heavens wishing him safe passage.

He attended both Norwood Public School and Northern Valley Regional High School in Old Tappan. After graduating Fairfield University in 1982, Paul enjoyed a 35+ year career in innovative lighting technologies with such companies as Industrial Devices, Chicago Miniature Lamp, and most recently WAMCO in Costa Mesa, CA. His professional accomplishments extended his network to over 30 countries worldwide where he undoubtedly left his indelible mark.

Known affectionately as Flynnster, Stoid, Paulo Tallo, Dad, and Grandpa, he was often mistaken for the late great Harold Ramis. A resemblance so uncanny that he once signed an autograph for an unsuspecting fan. Known for his booming voice, tall stature and sense of humor, Paul lived his life full of practical jokes and wet willies. He was a voracious reader, avid New York Giants fan and frequent moviegoer. His laughter, sage advice, and hugs will be sorely missed by all.

He leaves his wife Evelyn of Tustin, CA; daughter, Morgan Flynn of White Plains, NY; son, Andrew Flynn of Orange County, CA; daughter, Justine and husband Anthony Lazzara and his grandson Anthony James of Rockland County, NY. He also leaves a sister Janet and her husband Wayne Sokoly of Park Ridge, NJ and their three children. He is predeceased by his mother and father, Andrew and Maria Flynn of Norwood, NJ.
