Veronica “Ronni” Walter

Veronica “Ronni” D’Agostino Walter passed away on October 29, 2025, surrounded by her loving family.

Ronni was a devoted mother, sister, aunt, cousin, daughter, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend to all who knew her. Her proudest role in life was that of a mother, to which she devoted herself fully—raising her children and grandchildren with love, strength, and dedication.

Family was everything to Ronni. She cherished traditions and made sure they continued through generations, from celebrating Christmas together to gathering every Sunday for pasta dinner and her famous “Sunday Sauce.” Known as the “cool mom,” Ronni had a way of making everyone feel welcome. Her children’s friends were drawn to her warmth and fun spirit—many even wished she were their mother.

Ronni’s style could best be described as both classy and trendy. She took great pride in her appearance and her home, always maintaining a sense of elegance and creativity. Ahead of her time in many ways, Ronni was known for her accepting nature and her ability to make anyone feel comfortable in her presence.

Professionally, Ronni was a successful business owner in the home improvement industry for many years, where several family members had the privilege of working alongside her. She was creative, artistic, and hardworking—qualities that defined both her professional and personal life.

Ronni loved to travel and see the world, but she always loved coming home best.

Throughout her life, Ronni faced many challenges, including the heartbreaking losses of a son, a granddaughter, two great-granddaughters, a sister, a brother, and a daughter-in-law. Despite these unimaginable losses, she continued on with courage and grace, teaching her family the importance of resilience and love.

Ronni will be remembered fondly and missed deeply by her family and friends. Her legacy of love, strength, and compassion will live on in all who knew her.

Ronni was predeceased by her Son, Michael Walter (Susan), husband Richard Walter,

Granddaughter Kasey Walter, Great-Granddaughters Cylie Spangenburg and Banks McNeil, Daughter-In-Law Patricia Carr-Walter, her Sister Angelina Caselnova, her brother, Albert D’Agostino and her parents Fran and Albert D’Agostino.

She is survived by her children Richard (Patrica) Walter, William (Maureen) Walter, Christopher (Danielle) Walter, Elizabeth(Jack) Walter, Victoria (Keith) Craig, Her sister-in- law Donna D’Agostino and her life-long companion Pepe Spacciante. 

She is survived by 26 grandchildren – Aimee, Hannah and Jake, Michael, Lianna, Donna, Erik, Daniel, Darian, Dale, Devyn, Corrine, Shawn and Elisha, Paul, Kristine and Michelle, Chris, Jesse, Derek, Dawn, Nicholas and Desiree, Juliet and Jillian. And many nieces and nephews.


She is also survived by 29 Great-Grand Children.

Visiting hours are Friday, October 31, 2025 from 5-7 PM at Pizzi Funeral Home, 120 Paris Avenue, Northvale, NJ. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Saturday, November 1, 2025 at 10 AM at St. Catharine’s RC Church, Blauvelt with interment to follow at Rockland Cemetery, Sparkill, NY.
