Robert Louis Perusini Jr., 65, of Old Tappan, NJ and Montrose, PA, passed away on Monday, November 10, 2025. Loving father of Robert Louis Perusini III. Caring brother of Craig and his late wife Iris and Sheryl Hegner and her husband Craig. Cherished son of Grace and her late husband Robert. Proud uncle of Jennifer (Alex), Heather (Ryan), Bryan, Steven and Courtney. He is also survived by many other loving friends and relatives. He was predeceased by his beloved dog Max.
Robert was a heavy equipment specialist, most notably for Ritchie Brothers Auctioneers and in his recent years for PNC Bank North America.
Visiting hours are Friday, November 14, 2025 from 5-8 PM. A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Pius X RC Church, Old Tappan, NJ on Saturday, November 15, 2025 at 10 AM. Interment will follow at George Washington Memorial Park, Paramus, NJ.

I was lucky to have worked with Bob on some equipment deals over the last year or so. We only spoke on the phone, since we are on opposite sides of the country, but he always made me smile because he seemed to be smiling while he talked. You could just tell. He seemed like a sweetheart! I’m sorry for the family’s loss. I will miss hearing his voice on the other end of the line.
We often hear that God takes the best, it’s very true here. Mr. Perusini was the BEST. The man was kind, considerate, respectful, intelligent and compassionate. A true gentleman. My buddy, my friend, my rock and confidant.
Now I pray for Robert. He’s strong, educated and on the right path. Continue on. I know you won’t let us down. His father was always very proud.
In conclusion, life continues on. I will always remember my brother Bob. No one will ever be like him.

Kind and Joyful, is how I will always remember Bob! He always had that light-hearted chuckle in every conversation that lifted a person up! He was smart, respectful, and patient. It was a privilege and a pleasure to know him, and work with him. He will truly be missed!
