
Nancy Lombardo (nee Maltese), 81, of Galloway, NJ passed away on Saturday, March 7, 2026 after fighting a long-term illness. She was the loving mother of Joseph Lombardo, who she adored. Beloved aunt of the late Selena Piazza Giuliano, the late Nancy Grasso and John Piazza, Jr.. She was predeceased by her sisters Marie Piazza and Jeannie Montenes, and her parents John and Nancy Maltese. She is also survived by her loving, long-term partner Bob Trapani.
Nancy was a strong, self driven woman with a big heart. She was proud to be born and raised in Brooklyn, NY. She loved sharing stories of her childhood which would often lead to heartfelt, contagious laughter. Nancy was an amazing Italian cook. She was especially known for her delicious meatballs which she took pride in making.
Nancy was a successful real estate agent and office manager for Rand Realty for many years. After she retired she made the big move of leaving New York to South Jersey. She purchased a house which she completely renovated to create a home that she was proud of and loved.
Nancy was an avid sports fan of the Mets, Jets and Nets. She held season tickets for the Jets for 50 years and treasured going to the games with her son, Joseph.
Nancy enjoyed many fun and special times with her love, Bob. They often went out to dinner, gambled in Atlantic City and entertained with family and friends.
She was loved by many and will be missed by all who knew her.
A Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, March 21, 2026 at 1 PM at Our Lady of Victories RC Church, Harrington Park, NJ.
