
Eloise Monti (Mockler) Haase passed away at the age of 82 on March 22, 2026. She was born in Englewood, NJ in 1943. Eloise was a proud graduate of Paramus High School in the Class of 1961. Eloise enjoyed spending time with her family around the holidays and creating special traditions. She had so much fun being Nonna to all her grandchildren. She had an amazing cookbook collection and loved cooking and trying new recipes. Eloise found joy in going to her homes in Long Beach Island and Florida, entertaining friends, going out to restaurants, and hosting parties. She is famous for her three layer ice cream cake. Eloise and her husband owned and operated successful liquor stores in New Jersey.
Eloise is survived by her husband Hank, daughter Tara (Andrew) and grandchildren Molly, Phoebe and Henry. She is also survived by her daughter in law Kathleen and grandchildren Kyla (Matt), Christopher, Aimee, Lauryn, and great grandchildren Kiera, Matthew Ryder, and Kallie. She is also survived by her brother William (Kelly). Eloise was predeceased by her two sons, Todd and Jeff.
Visiting hours are Friday, April 3, 2026 from 10am-12pm at Pizzi Funeral Home, 120 Paris Avenue, Northvale, NJ. A small service will be held from 11:30am-12pm at the funeral home with entombment to follow at George Washington Memorial Park, 234 Paramus Road, Paramus, NJ.
