Ann M. Benardelli (nee Claps), 99, of Northvale, formerly of the Bronx, passed away on Wednesday, May 25, 2016. Cherished mother of Carolyn Di Meglio and her husband Joseph of Northvale. Loving grandmother of John Di Meglio and wife Taylor of Warwick, NY and Kara Gee and husband Doug of Northvale. Adored great-grandmother of Addie, Amarie, Kaleigh and Kristin. She was predeceased by her husband Rocco Benardelli and brothers, Ludwig and Frank Claps.
Ann was a dedicated mother and grandmother. She worked in the garment industry in NYC for many years and was a “fitter to the stars”, working with many famous celebrities.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Wednesday 10 AM at St. Anthony‘s RC Church, Northvale with interment to follow at St. Raymond’s Cemetery, Bronx, NY. Visiting hours are Tuesday 2-4 and 7-9 PM at Pizzi Funeral Home, 120 Paris Ave, Northvale (201-767-3050).
