  1. Dear Linda, Jen, and Mark…………..Some of my BEST years were those spent down at Hogan’s Field in the “SnackBar”. I would be there early to set-up or prepare the night’s “special” and Jeff was already there because he had to “rake the field”. One of my favorite memories was the night we completely sold out of 300 meatballs and Jeff said, “I’d buy a roll just for the sauce”. Well, that’s what we did and we sold out in no time!! He could be calm, he could be wild, and like us all, he could be many things at any given time, but first and foremost , he was there for the kids and that meant everything to him! I am sorry for your loss but I’m so glad that he got to spend time with his grandchildren, the most precious of all kids!! My thoughts and prayers are with you. He will live on with your memories and you will smile because he was here! God Bless!

    Sincerely, Mary Lou Strobel (Ecke)
