Alexander D. Senes, 72, of Old Tappan, passed away on Easter Sunday, April 1, 2018. Beloved husband of Estela (nee Bachiglione). Cherished father of Melissa Hoffman and husband John of Doylestown, PA. Adored grandfather of Sienna and Ethan.
Alex was a Psychiatrist and retired from Jacobi Medical Center in the Bronx. He spoke five languages and taught at Saddle Brook High School for many years.
He was a loving and devoted husband, father and grandfather, loved music and playing the guitar, and will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
Visitation will be Thursday 10:30 AM to 12:30 PM at Pizzi Funeral Home, 120 Paris Ave, Northvale (201-767-3050). A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Thursday 1 PM at Immaculate Conception RC Church, Norwood.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the National Institute of Neurological Disorders & Stroke, www.ninds.nih.gov, would be greatly appreciated.

Sorry to hear that Mr. Senes had passed away. He was my favorite teacher when he taught Spanish at St. Joseph Regional High School in the late 60’s early 70’s. I enjoyed his classes very much and help make Spanish my favorite subject back then. We had become friends after he left SJR and went to Saddle Brook HS. I am hoping this message reaches his family.
