Zenaida A. Cruz, 85, of Bergenfield, passed away on Monday, July 30, 2018. Beloved wife of the late Angel Jugo, Sr. Cherished mother of Angel Jugo and wife Juliet of Northvale. Proud grandmother of Lyza Quilalan and husband Sean and Lyzzette Grassi and husband Stephen. Adored great grandmother of James, Liam, Daniel, Ryan and Skylar. Predeceased by 17 brothers and sisters.
Zenaida was born on March 15, 1933 in Manila, Philippines. While living in the Philippines, she worked in a law firm. She emigrated to the United States in the 1970s and was an Administrative Assistant at the Closter Library. Prior she worked for Shop Rite in Northvale.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Tuesday, August 7th at 10 a.m. at St. Anthony’s RC Church, Northvale with inurnment to follow at Maryrest Cemetery, Mahwah, NJ. Visiting hours are Saturday, August 4th from 2-5 p.m. at Pizzi Funeral Home, 120 Paris Avenue, Northvale (201.767.3050).
