Joan P. Szegda (nee Poli), of Old Tappan, passed away on Thursday, January 5, 2012. Joan is survived by her husband Michael, and twins, Justin and Michele.
Mrs. Szegda taught grammar school in NYC, practiced law and then became a proud stay at home mom raising her children. She had been a member of the Old Tappan Board of Education, was a Girl Scout leader and was an active parishioner of St. Pius X RC Church.
A Funeral Service will be held Monday 1:45 PM at the Anthony R. Pizzi Funeral Home, 120 Paris Ave, Northvale with entombment to follow at Ascension Mausoleum, Airmont, NY. Visiting hours will be from 11:00 AM to 1:45 PM.
