Louis P. Descul, 98, of Northvale, passed away on Tuesday, November 13, 2018. Beloved husband of the late Sylvia (nee Spinelli). Loving father of Michael Descul of Northvale. Dearest brother of James, Angelo and the late Armando, Elizabeth, Theresa and Rosemary. Cherished uncle of many loving nieces and nephews.
Louis was a US Navy veteran of WWII. He worked for the US Postal Service in NYC, and later office-manager for Jersey City-based The Wilson Group for many years.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Saturday, November 17 at 9AM at St. Anthony’s RC Church, Northvale with entombment to follow at Garden of Memories, Washington Twp. Visiting hours are Friday, November 16, 2-4 and 7-9 PM at Pizzi Funeral Home, 120 Paris Ave, Northvale (201) 767-3050.

Awww so sorry to hear, my heart and thoughts go out to Michael. Your dad was so gental, sweet, generous to me and my family. And I didn’t see him of late but he was and will always be part of my heart. Love you forever Uncle Louis. Rest in peace
He was a true gentleman and good man. He gave me advice and insight about many things. I was lucky to know him. He raised a wonderful son. He is with his beloved wife now. May they both RIP 4 ever and a day. My love & condolences to Michael a wonderful son and to his family
