Joseph W. Vitale, 67, of Norwood, passed away at home surrounded by his loving family on Thursday, December 6, 2018. Beloved husband of Amelia (nee Gimino). Proud father of Samantha and the late Anthony. Loving brother of Theresa Smith and her husband Fred and the late Rose Brickwood. He is also survived by many other cherished family members and dear friends.
Joe was a US Navy veteran of the Vietnam War. A devoted husband and father, Joe will be remembered for his love of family and friends, his passion for antique cars and his dedicated work ethic. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Saturday at 1:30 PM at St. Anthony’s RC Church, Northvale. Visiting hours are Friday 5-9 PM at Pizzi Funeral Home, 120 Paris Ave, Northvale (201-767-3050).

Gone too soon. Joe you will be reunited with Anthony, your mom and dad, Rose, and all other relatives who passed before you. I have wonderful memories of our childhoods with Rose and Frank. They will remain in my heart till we all meet again.
