Shirley Bloyd (nee Schneider), 87, of Warren, formerly of Northvale, passed away on Saturday, January 28, 2012. Beloved wife of the late Roy. Devoted mother of Ronald of Pomona and Valerie Cooper and her husband William of Piscataway. Adored grandmother of Stacy and Ryan and great-grandmother of Alexandria and Michael. Dear sister of Louise Sohlman of DE and Margaret Sucick of Old Tappan. Also survived by her former daughter-in-law Suzanne Bloyd.
Mrs. Bloyd was a parishioner of St. Anthony’s RC Church, a member of the Republican Club and was a Girl Scout Leader, all in Northvale.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Friday 10:00 AM at St. Anthony’s in Northvale with interment to follow at Tappan Cemetery, Tappan, NY. Visiting hours are Thursday 5:30-7:30 PM at the Anthony R. Pizzi Funeral Home, 120 Paris Ave., Northvale.
