Jeannie R. Ryan

Jeannie R. Ryan, 63, died on Monday July 1, 2019 after years of strength and fierce optimism in a struggle against cancer.  She was the beloved mother of Erica Ryan (and husband Matthew Schuck) and Michael John Ryan (and wife Candice Lim).  She was grandmother to Alice Ryan Schuck, her favorite person on this earth.  She was the cherished sister of Mary Jane Sacco (and husband Charles Sacco), John Conroy (and wife Susan Conroy), Nancy Cirelli, and Donna DeNucci (and husband Mario DeNucci).  She was predeceased by her parents, John and Mary Jane Conroy.  And she was loved by many family and friends.  She made the world a better place, and we carry her on in our hearts.

Visiting hours are Saturday, July 6, 2019 from 1-3 PM at Pizzi Funeral Home, 120 Paris Ave, Northvale (201-767-3050).

We are so sorry for the loss of your beautiful sister. We pray that all the Angels carry her Home to Heaven where you and her will meet again one day. May her light that shone so brightly while she was here with you, now become a candle for your soul, burning brightly, this way she’ll always be with you……always. Sisters can never be separated, not even by death, the bond was sealed a long time ago. God bless you. Please know we are thinking of you and praying for you. Our Love and deepest condolences, Carole and Bill De Brino

My dearest Jeannie, memories growing up together are embedded in my heart. We had amazing times sleeping under a canvas thrown over the clothes line in my back yard, swimming in the pool at 2-3 in the morning, getting rolls at 6 am on a weekend. Camping trip with the girls, parish picnics, your white go go boots, Girls from Uncle, PJ parties, walking home late at night after a St. Francis play wearing hula skirts and pink mops on our heads singing A 100 and 1 Pounds of Fun, high school dances, senior class cut day, riding in the green station wagon, new jobs, children, and grandchildren. I could go on because we shared so much. Your kindness, love, strength and courage throughout the years was an amazing part of who you were and you were my best friend. My heart is broken and I will always cherish the times we shared. You and your family were always a part of my family. Rest peacefully my dear Jeannie and I know that you are watching over us now. Love and condolences to Erica, Michael John and all the family.
