Angel M. Ramos, 95, of Orangeburg, NY, passed away surrounded by his loving family on Saturday, October 26, 2019. Beloved husband of Anna (nee Nazario). Loving father of Sr. Brunilda Ramos of Mantoloking, NJ and Gladys Amin of Orangeburg, NY. Proud grandfather of Sharif Amin and Jennifer Amin (Nash) and great-grandfather of Soluna and Elias. Dearest brother of eleven brothers and sisters.
Angel was a US Army WWII Veteran. He owned a grocery store in NYC for many years before retiring. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather and will be dearly missed.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, October 30, 2019 at 10 AM at Our Lady of the Sacred Heart RC Church, Tappan, NY with interment to follow at Loescher Veterans Cemetery, New Hempstead, NY. Visiting hours are Tuesday 4-7 PM at Pizzi Funeral Home, 120 Paris Ave, Northvale, NJ (201-767-3050).
In lieu of flowers, donations in Angel’s memory may be made to St. Joseph by the Sea Retreat House, 400 Route 35 North, South Mantoloking, NJ 08738.
