  11. There has been noone sweeter, nor more loving to his wife, family and animals than my dear friend Herbert Flavell. He had an incredible memory and zest for life few could match. He could remember names, addresses, places, dates and times – almost to the minute. I will forever cherish having him as a friend. I know he is hugging, kissing and holding Eleanor’s hand like it’s their first date.

I love and miss you so much already.

  12. Whats on my mind today. I would like to start out by saying it was the best thing I did moving closer to pepa for so many reasons. My two daughters Avelynn and alyonna and myself would drive up there every weekend or every other weekend since it was only hr drive and pepa would always have a chore for me he would say to either fix something build something or just help him with something he had bought. Than at night we would just talk either about his health or stories about him in his younger days. Most stories he would repeate them but I could just listen for hours and sometimes I even finish his thoughts. I also enjoyed at least two times a yr going to take him to his doctor appt in Kearny I would drive the hour to pick him up than we drive 3 hrs to Kearny get his paper work filled out and than I would drive him back home. Our last trip would be December 18 I would always look over he be taking his naps like usual he loved his naps about hr into our trip in Dover on RT 80 we ran into snow squalls oh boy was he nervous on the edge of his seat I didn’t say much my hands where just white knuckles from holding the steering wheel so tight he says and I quote “in all my years driving I have never drove through anything like that” he goes on to repeatedly saying this is ridiculous we finally made it out of the snow squall and he said u did a good job shawny boy that made me so proud. I will always cherish and remain so amazed by pepa and just the man he truly is and will always be in everyone’s heart the greatest bionic man. I just wish I could be half the man he was.
