My deepest Condolences to the Powers Family. May he rest in peace and perpetual light shine upon him.
Buddy was a wonderful husband to my sister Tessie. I cherish wonderful memories of parties up in Cupsaw where he made dangerous Manhattans (did anyone leave there sober ). I am grateful to Nancy for making him happy after he lost Tess. Well Tess and Maureen and John Kliggett were waiting in heaven and today he is partying with them all along with John Noone He left a wonderful legacy and impacted many lives. Enjoy eternity Buddy
Buddy was one heck of a guy we had great fun together playing golf and cards he will surely be missed not only by Sally and I as well as friends that we share together in Jupiter Florida God bless Buddy May he rest in peace
Buddy was such a dear friend. He always had a contagious laugh, a warm smile and a big hug for those he loved. He was a loving, caring father and husband, and in his presence, you always knew you were with a gentleman. Dave and I already miss him, and he leaves an empty place in our hearts.
Our deepest condolences to the Powers family, Nancy and all who hold Bud dear in their hearts. We are grateful for the many fond memories our children have of their Grandpa Bud. May he rest in peace.

Hi Mike, this is Jean Marie Powers, I’ve pasted the link for Mass at St Catherine’s, Wednesday morning starting at 1025am. May I ask you to please post this somewhere on your site for ppl to see it?? Is that ok?
Bud- or more appropriately, “Mr.Powers” to me- was such a wonderful figure in my early life in Cupsaw. Growing up and going to school with the Powers clan was such a wonderful experience. We all loved summers at the lake, the endless parties, our Catholic upbringing and keen sense of family. Later in my life in the Navy I became even more appreciative of all Bud did in his own time in the service and the sacrifices he made for his family. I’m thankful he is at rest now and I am sure sharing on of his famous Manhattans with my Dad, Louie, up there right now!
My deepest sympathy to the entire Powers family. I hope you are comforted by many loving, happy memories of your dad.
Uncle Buddy, you will be missed immensely and very deeply by all. I have such wonderful memories of our family gathers, vacations, and how special your friendship was to my parents (Richard and Helen Golden). God bless you and you will forever hold a place in my heart.
RIP, Love Cathie Golden
Great Job Chris, what a wonderful tribute to a special Dad, Grandad, Husband and Friend. love and prayers to you all
