Robert D. Connelly, 71, of Northvale, passed away on Wednesday, January 20, 2021. He is survived by his loving wife, two sons and their wives, two grandchildren and four brothers.
Bob was an educator. He enjoyed fishing and cruising and will be forever missed for his quick wit and fun sense of humor.
Visitation will be Saturday, January 23, 2021 from 8:45 AM to 9:30 AM at Pizzi Funeral Home, 120 Paris Ave, Northvale. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Saturday at 10 AM at St. Anthony’s Church, Northvale with interment to follow at Rockland Cemetery, Sparkill, NY.

Bob was my mentor, a teacher a friend. Excellent teacher. I will always be grateful for everything he thought me. The endless Wednesday night we work together and he was so willing to help me with my accounting homework. RIP Bob. God bless you and family always.
On the oceans and at sail my cousin Bob was always a great mate. He will be greatly missed but many great sea tales will remain.
