Eugene Aldo Sampietro, 83, of Wood-Ridge, NJ, passed away on Saturday, May 28, 2022. He was the proud father of Lea Martone, Lydia Gallucci, Alana Donato and the late Eugene, Jr. Cherished Poppie of Eugene Gregory, Ava, Andrew, Lucas, Paulie, Matthew, Sage and his beloved pet grandogs Rigatoni, Lola and Mo.
Before retiring, Gene, known as Mr. Sam, was a teacher for the Ridgefield Park Board of Education for many years. He was an avid Dodgers fan and Rams fan. He loved Broadway, watching classic television and grocery shopping at Shoprite.
Funeral services were private.

️This is a man who was always Nice to me even when I almost burned his house down I was sooo tired from making baby bottles all night long i would be lying if I said I didn’t like him he was the coolest. Had I lived closer I would have been there visiting everyday helping him I remember he had a Dog name Tasha he loved that Dogg as well ,I only hope he was at peace when he passed R.I.P Mr.Sampietro it’s unfortunate your children have to endure this my heart Goes out to every member of this Family ️Sleep in Peace️ I love you Forever Tyesha Nettles and The Nettles Family Isaiah 41:10 I’ll leave the family with that scripture knowing that Jesus is the way the truth and the light to God
