Harold E. Kline of Northvale, New Jersey, passed away surrounded by loved ones on July 3, 2022. He was 87. Beloved husband of Marilyn (nee Spagnuolo). He is survived by his twosons; Gregory and his wife Margaret of Pearl River, NY and Douglas of Bergenfield, NJ. Proud grandfather of Brandon and Kerry. He was predeceased by two brothers and three sisters; Robert, Paul and his wife Dolly, Miriam Schmidt and her husband Wilbur, Dorothy Kirshmer and her husband Al and Mildred Smith.
Harold was born in the Bronx, NY on January 1, 1935. Harold and Marilyn were married in September 1961 and last year celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary. They lived in Fort Lee, NJ for 5 years before moving to Northvale in 1966.
Harold was a U.S Army Veteran having served from March 1958 to March 1960. Before retiring in 1997 he was a Controller for Penetone Corporation in Tenafly, NJ. He was a member of the National Association of Accountants, served on the Northvale Zoning Board and was a Little League coach. In 2011 he was the recipient of the Bergen County Historic Preservation Commendation for restoration of the Old Burying Ground Cemetery in Harrington Park, NJ. In his spare time he enjoyed being outdoors and tending to his gardens.
Visiting hours are Friday, July 8, 2022 from 4-7 PM at Pizzi Funeral Home, 120 Paris Ave, Northvale.
Burial will be Monday, July 11, 2022 at 11:30 AM at Tappan Cemetery, Tappan, NY.

We were so sorry to hear of Harry’s passing. He was one of the first neighbors we met. We enjoyed a few New Years Eve’s with you and Marilyn and would celebrate your birthday.
