Theresa Albanese (nee D’Urso), 64, of Park Ridge, NJ, passed away at home surrounded by her loving family on Monday, August 15, 2022. Beloved wife of Daniel. Loving mother of Danielle and Michael and his wife Lauren. Dear sister of Joanne Gove and husband Doug, Joseph D’Urso and wife Lisa, sister-in-law of Sandra Gibbs and husband Fred and loving aunt of Guthrie, Remi, Nicole, Steven and Joseph. Also survived by her father-in-law Donald Albanese and wife Joan.
Theresa was a loyal employee and executive administrative assistant for A&P Tea Company for over 40 years before working as a marketing assistant for Slattery Marketing in West Caldwell. She was a lifelong parishioner of Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Church, Tappan, NY.
Visiting hours are Wednesday, Aug 17 from 2-9 PM at Pizzi Funeral Home, Northvale. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Thursday, Aug 18 at 11 AM at Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Church, Tappan.

So sorry to hear of Terry’s illness and passing – we worked together for 11 (long) years at A&P and kept in touch from time to time. She always had a kind word for everyone, she laughed all the time and was always there to help. God Bless to her family and may she rest in peace.
So sorry to hear about Terry. I loved working with her all those years at A&P. We had some great times there and even after when we would meet for dinner. My thoughts and prayers are with her family. May she Rest In Peace.

So sorry to hear this sad news. Deep sympathy to the Albanese family.
I just heard about this over the weekend for the first time, and was beyond saddened. Terry was a great friend and colleague, and I miss her very much. Terry was full of life, full of laughter, and had a wonderful heart. I always got the sense she really loved me, her teammates, and went above & beyond to make sure we were always OK. This included bringing in incredible Italian desserts around the holidays – which I’ll always remember :), or hosting a baby shower for a colleague at her home. Terry was truly a special person. I know she’s somewhere on a beach right now enjoying the sunset…
