GOULDSBURY, Charles W. “Chuck”, a gentle soul, 69, passed away on September 23, 2023. He was pre-deceased by his adoptive parents William and Catherine. He is survived by his stepmother, Anne of Northvale, NJ. Beloved cousin of Kathleen (John) O’Hara (Farmingdale, NJ), Jane (Brian) Farrell (Edison, NJ), Richard (Lisa) Gouldsbury (Wantagh, NY), and several other family members and friends, especially Anthony Borzone, his life-long friend. Charlie spent most of the past 20 years living with his newfound friends at The Waterfront in Woodcliff Lake, NJ. He enjoyed music, classic TV, movies, and spending time with family. Christmas was his favorite Holiday, and he spent several months picking out gifts for every family member. A memorial service is scheduled for Saturday, October 14th, 10:30 am at Pizzi Funeral Home, Northvale, NJ. The service will be followed immediately by interment at Rockland Cemetery, Orangeburg, NY.
Charlie was a special person he and my husband Charlie were best friends. He would come visit us after we moved to Florida. I missed his visit when he couldn’t come anymore but he called every week until my Charlie had passed but he still called me when he could just to check on me. I’m sure they will find each other in heaven. I will miss your phone calls and I will never forget your smile. Rest in peace my friend.
