Hi Peggy, it’s been so long. I’m down in Florida but my heart is with you. I’m so sad to have learned this news, I’ve known Rick for so long, most of my life actually. He was a dear friend and such a great supporter of my dreams since the very beginning. My deepest condolences to you and your boys.
All my love, Gioia
Peggy, James, Joey and Doug… all the Kerstings. Your loss is inestimable; words from me are completely inadequate. Today, Tom spoke more beautifully about Rick than anyone I can think of might have. His measured and clear appraisal of his little sisters future husband left nothing out. And it was perfect. Rick still is, as Tom said, a kind, honest, deep soul; a real “gentleman”. Full of the Grace of God, a bottomless well of generosity that neither keeps score, nor asks for reward. Ricky adored Peggy! She was the hope, the future that he didn’t know he’d have at times ! He was finally able to participate in a full life with Peggy and her lively family, instead of being a spectator at everyone else’s. I have no doubt, Rick will continue to take gogood care of Peggy from his Heavenly man cave, and run all kinds of divine interference for her beloved three sons any time they call his name ! I sure hope Peggy will let me take her for some time in NYC when she’s ready with love and prayers for your comfort Alex
I’m so sorry to hear about Rick’s passing. He did some work at my house and I enjoyed conversations with him. Much love to his wife, family, and all who loved him. I wish you all comfort in this difficult time.
