John J. Laracy

John J. Laracy, 83, of Northvale, NJ passed away on Friday, August 1, 2025.  Beloved husband of the late Linda (nee Cirone).  Loving father of John C. Laracy.  Dear brother of Kathleen Kaplowitz and her late husband Bernard, Everett Martin Bush, and the late Karen Bush.

John was born in Nyack, NY grew up in Pearl River, NY.  He was a proud veteran of the United States Army, serving in the 82nd Airborne during the Vietnam War and later becoming an active member of the American Legion Post 366.  He worked as a machinist for FMC in Englewood, NJ for many years.

Visiting hours are Wednesday, August 13, 2025 from 5-8 PM at Pizzi Funeral Home, 120 Paris Avenue, Northvale, New Jersey.  A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Thursday, August 14, 2025 at 11 AM at St. Anthony’s RC Church, Northvale.

In lieu of flowers, donations in John’s memory to the Tunnel to Towers Foundation, www.t2t.org, would be greatly appreciated.

    So saddened to hear of your dad’s passing. Many fond memories of him growing up in Northvale and when he coached us in pee-wee baseball. Prayers are with you, my old friend.
