Barbara Mockler (nee DiBlasio), 64, of Harrington Park, passed away at home surrounded by her loving family on Wednesday, July 1, 2020. Loving wife of Ronald C. Mockler. Cherished mother of Kristel-Lynn, Michelle and Robert. Dearest sister of Peter DiBlasio, Michael DiBlasio and his wife Debra and Anthony DiBlasio. Also survived by her beloved dog Lucky.Barbara was a devoted wife and mother who loved her husband and kids. Barbara loved entertaining her family and friends. She always knew how to make others laugh. Her smile was contagious and brightened up any room she entered. Visiting hours are Sunday 2-6 PM at Pizzi Funeral Home, 120 Paris Ave, Northvale (201-767-3050). A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Monday, July 6, 2020 at 10 AM at Our Lady of Grace RC Church, Fairview with interment to follow at George Washington Memorial Park, Paramus.Those who wish may make donations in Barbara’s memory to the Old Tappan Volunteer Fire Department, 231 Old Tappan Rd., Old Tappan, NJ 07675.

My sister and I worked with Barbara many years ago. She went on a family vacation with us. A girl with a heart of gold who was also tough as nails! She had us laughing all the time. I don’t even remember a time she wasn’t laughing or smiling! Once a few years ago my husband came home and said he had met a great guy whose wife always talked about the fun she had working at Stateline! Dennis said “Do you remember Barbara DiBlasio?” I couldn’t believe the coincidence! He had met Ron!!!
I will always love Barbara. Her smile and the fun we had will be forever etched in my heart. Bless you all.
