Robert Joseph Garabed, 70, of Mahwah, formerly of Teaneck, passed away on Tuesday, December 18, 2018. Loving father of Kimberly Thayres and her husband Edward of Lavallette and Robert Garabed of Jersey City. Beloved brother of Elaine and Ralph Young, Joseph and the late Bernadette Garabed, Glenn and Lisa Garabed, Janice and Kerry Bender and Cheryl and Kenneth Hauser. Dearest uncle of many nieces and nephews.
Robert was a US Air Force Veteran during the Vietnam War. He was a software sales representative for Innovation Data Processing in Little Falls.

Casper T. “Bud” Will, of Tappan, passed away on Friday, December 14, 2018. Born October 11th 1929 in Yonkers, NY. Retired executive of CIGNA Special Risk Facilities Inc. Attended St. Denis parochial school, Manhattan Prep, and New York University.He was predeceased by his wife, Helen (née Manix). He is survived by four daughters, Mary Jane Fick (Bob), Joanne Ciriello (Peter), Patricia Boyer (Steve), and Denise Pawlowski (Alex). He is succeeded by his eight grandchildren, Colleen, Kaitlin, Thomas, Kerri Anne, Matthew, Meghan, Jack and Daniel. Bud was a US Army Veteran of the Korean War. He was active in community affairs serving as adjutant and financial officer of the John M. Perry Post American Legion and as president of Palisades Swim Club. He was also an active parishioner of Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Church, serving in the capacity of lector, president of the men’s club, member of the pastoral parish counsel under Fr. Dale and Fr. Theodore Michael Saydah “Ted,” 93, of Closter, passed away on Thursday, December 6, 2018. Beloved husband of Joyce (née Ontra). Devoted family man and cherished father of Gerard and wife Judy of Middletown, JoAnne Therese of Norwood, Jenifer Saydah and fiancé Kevin McGovern of Norwood, and Jill Marie Ross and husband George of Northvale. Adored grandfather of Erica Joyce DiMarzo and husband Rob, Michelle Saydah, Mary Gabrielle Saydah, Theo Saydah, and James Saydah. Dearest brother of Eleanor Sahadi of Demarest and the late Jim and George. Loving uncle of many nieces and nephews.Ted was a proud US Navy veteran of WWII, earning the American Theatre and Victory Medals. Educated at Trinity College and School of Visual Arts, he went on to a career as an Art Director in NYC before working for The Record newspaper as a manager where he retired from. Ted was very involved in local and county politics and was a Bergen County Committeeman for several years. He was an active parishioner of St. Mary’s Church, Closter, was a lector, and along with his wife Joyce, taught CCD for many years. He loved sports and was an avid fan of the Brooklyn Dodgers, NY Mets, NY Giants, and NJ Devils. Ted also was a self-taught musician earning first-chair trombone in the Fort Hamilton HS band.Visiting hours will be Tuesday 11 AM to 1 PM, at which time a funeral service will be held at Pizzi Funeral Home, 120 Paris Ave, Northvale, NJ (201-767-3050). Hendra Wargo (nee Siegel), of Port Jervis, NY, passed away on Friday, November 30, 2018 at the age of 75. Beloved wife of the late John G. “Jack” Wargo. Cherished mother of Lisa Mirakaj and her husband Matt of Tappan and Dawn Palazzo and her husband Michael of Port Jervis, NY. Adored grandmother of Maria, Anthony, Angela, Jill, Diana, Michael and Mandee and great-grandmother of Logan, Kaylee, Aria, Victoria, Sophia and Mandelin.
Hendra always lived life on her own terms as a truly unique individual. She deeply treasured her journeys aboard her houseboat on the Hudson River for many years. She is now set free to join her husband for new adventures upon the river. As Hendra would say, “Take it from me, I know these things.”

Leona Neuscheler
Leona Neuscheler, 80, of Northvale, passed away November 24, 2018. She was born in Brooklyn, NY, and was the beloved wife of the late Norbert Neuscheler. She was the devoted mother of Lorena and her husband Anthony Russo of Ringwood, NJ and Richard and his wife Nancy LaIacoma of Stanhope, NJ. Stepmother to Laura Neuscheler of Wayne, NJ and Michael and his wife Joan Neuscheler of Stamford, CT. Loving grandmother to Davin and the late Miranda LaIacoma, Christopher, Dylan, and Corinne Russo, Kristin and Danielle Neuscheler, Travis, Christopher, and Jena Neuscheler.
Leona was employed as a medical assistant and raised her family in Harrington Park. She moved to Northvale in 1985 and worked at Inmac Computer Supplies until her retirement at the age of 62 after which she joined the Northvale Ambulance Corps as an EMT.
Leona had a passion for traveling, reading, and was an avid fisherwoman. She was a member of the Red Hats Club and Golden Age Club.
Funeral services were private.
