George was a man I always admired. He was the first person I ever knew who volunteered for Habitat for Humanity. I thought….here is a man who lives a comfortable life, surrounded by a loving family, and makes it a point to do things to help those without. He was a hero. A role model.
He also was a supportive and loving father and grandfather. He raised four amazing children and he loved his wife tremendously.
I will always be thankful to have known him and his family.
