Hendra Wargo (nee Siegel), of Port Jervis, NY, passed away on Friday, November 30, 2018 at the age of 75. Beloved wife of the late John G. “Jack” Wargo. Cherished mother of Lisa Mirakaj and her husband Matt of Tappan and Dawn Palazzo and her husband Michael of Port Jervis, NY. Adored grandmother of Maria, Anthony, Angela, Jill, Diana, Michael and Mandee and great-grandmother of Logan, Kaylee, Aria, Victoria, Sophia and Mandelin.
Hendra always lived life on her own terms as a truly unique individual. She deeply treasured her journeys aboard her houseboat on the Hudson River for many years. She is now set free to join her husband for new adventures upon the river. As Hendra would say, “Take it from me, I know these things.”
Visiting hours will be Sunday, December 9, 2018 from 11 AM to 2 PM at Pizzi Funeral Home, 120 Paris Avenue, Northvale, NJ (201-767-3050). A Rabbi led memorial service will be at 1:30pm at Pizzi Funeral Home.

I was with my parents visiting my Aunt and Uncle when we first met Hendra. It was a tough crowd and she surely held her own. On the way home we felt that Jack had met his match. We all agreed that she was a great addition to our family.
