  1. I had the privilege of calling this amazing lady my Mother-in-Law for 22 years. We shared many experiences together, both good and bad, but remained friends though it all. I will miss hearing her voice on the phone during our many chats. I Love you Anne. Rest Well.

  2. Well Mrs. Schultz, I don’t know where to begin. From the time I first entered the house on Railroad Avenue I knew that the place was different but never imagined how you and the family would become such an important part of my life. The memories that Bill, Evelyn, Chris and so many others shared with me along the way are still vivid and life lasting. They say that the teenage years are a path to the future, I can say that you helped me pave my future. Long before my own kids were causing grief and havoc around our house I was causing havoc around yours. From countless times of banging my fist on the back door (doorbells were for other people), to hockey games in the driveway were we dented up your garage door, to breaking a window or two along the way and leaving the broken glass in plain sight, to getting a true ‘half cups’ of coffee, to driving through the night to visit Bill at school and fighting like cats and dogs with Evelyn in the back seat, to helping your dear husband change a tire on his stupid wheelbarrow (how much harder could he have possibly made it), to swimming in the backyard pool, to the countless wine and cheese visits AnnMarie and I made to the house, to the number of times I rearranged George’s coffee cup and morning breakfast table setting, to the other household items that Bill and I broke around the house that we never told you about… – through it all you always welcomed us into a loving house and treated us like family. And through all of that you raised two great kids that have continued to be my lifelong friends.

I hope I will always to be one of your backdoor friends and I know that you will always have a place in my heart !

    Love – Don

PS. just for the record, it was Bill who broke the garage door window. 🙂
