    Where is Joe now?
I can tell you to think about the light, to think about a beautiful pasture, where the smell of flowers is as beautiful as the flowers themselves.
To think about the chirping sound of birds.
To think about a place where you don’t need shoes to walk, or dress up.
A place where canes are not needed, where pain doesn’t exit.
A place filled with smiles because every day is a celebration and a happy reunion… the kind of celebration we have when we receive our first born child.
A place where resting is more like a beautiful dance in harmony, where we are all equals.
A place reserved for those who lived to make a difference, and loved unconditionally.
A place where all colors shine bright; where there is only love and kindness.
The place we all called Heaven, where Joe is being celebrated today and always.
He is finally in his dwelling place and it is Beautiful!
Don’t cry, don’t despair. He is in your heart as we always be in his.

Our thoughts and prayers are with you in your time of sorrow.

    To Joe’s Family:
Although Louis and I are profoundly sad at losing our dear friend Joe, we realize it is minor in comparison with that which you are experiencing.
I will miss the conversations between Joe and Louis and their critiquing the Yankees’ games and Louis’s laughter. We were so happy to think Joe could come for a visit which sadly never happened. May Joe be in God’s Grace and may you find peace.
    Blessings to all,
    Margaret and Louis Cepeda

      Dear Margaret and Louis,
Joe and Louis had a very special relationship. I hope the memories will remain with Louis forever. Joe’s was heartbroken that he couldn’t get out to Denver to see you but his disease had weakened him too much. Thank you for your condolences.

    To Joe’s Family.
The last time I spoke to Joe, I was at my parents house when he had called to talk to my father, Louis Cepeda. We had an amazing conversation and I brought up all the great places he took me when I would visit my grandparents in New York. One of my favorite adventures he took me on was to a Mets game in 1986. It was my turn to take Joe out during his visit to Colorado. It breaks my heart he couldn’t make it out here and even more that he is gone. He is truly missed. Condolences to his family. God Bless – Janelle Cepeda-Sherrod
