Andres Vega

Andres Vega, known as Andrew, passed away unexpectedly at his home in Tenafly on Sunday December 5, 2021.

Loving husband and best friend to his wife Jennifer Vega. Cherished and beloved son to his parents Pedro and Felicia Vega. He will be greatly missed by his wife, parents, grandparents and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Born in 1988, Andrew grew up and went to school in Bergenfield, N.J. For a period of his life he moved away to Indiana but returned home to New Jersey to be closer to family and friends.

Andrew had many passions. He was a skilled artist, who loved photography, drawing and music. He was also a craftsman, and worked in the construction trades. He enjoyed car racing, and a great piece of steak. He was a true friend to his friends – ready and willing at a moment’s notice to help them out. He will be forever remembered for his amazing hair, beautiful smile, his sense of humor, and kindness.

Although our hearts are heavy, we will celebrate his life and find comfort that Andrew is resting in peace, awaiting the day when we will be able to once again see him in paradise. “Do not be amazed at this, for the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out”- John 5:28,29.

The family would like to thank everyone for their support during this difficult time.

In lieu of flowers, please keep the family in your thoughts and prayers. The family asks that cards be sent to express condolences at this time.

  6. I can’t ever say goodbye, even though you are gone.
You had much love to give, you were so greatly loved.
You should be still here with us, too young for life to end.
Life will never be the same, without your precious smile.
The pain we feel and tears we weep, will never go away.
The memories that we have of you, will help us to go on.
You could never be forgotten, we will miss you every day.
We take comfort knowing that you are sleeping, not in pain.
Jehovah God will remember your goodness and faithfulness.
Every detail of you he has written down, eager to bring you back.
We hold on to the hope that soon, God’s promises will be fulfilled.
You will hear his voice and be awakened in perfect earthly paradise.

We have some truly fond memories of Andrew
About 30 years or ago he was a tiny little sweet boy . He came to a party our family held for our son going to bethel. We had a bunch of balloons that needed to be carried in. Andrew was the carrier and we all clapped as he ran in holding them with his big smile
We look forward to that smile and a big celebration to welcome him back. Maybe we will have a bunch of balloons then too Our thoughts and prayers are with your Parents and wife We will always remember you.
    Until we see you again

We already miss Andrew so very much. There are no words that can truly express how heartbroken we are, we share in your grief and loss. We await the Bible’s promise of the resurrection (John 11:1-57) and seeing our sweet, funny, old-soul that was and shall always be Andrew.
