As a boy, I remember ‘Louie’ as the funny husband of my mother’s childhood friend Mary and the father doting father to three very pretty girls, Marilou, Janet and Jacqueline. I recall what big and enjoyable events it was to visit them all in New Jersey or when they made the trip to see us in Queens. I was always a little in awe that Louie was a fireman and impressed with how he loved his family. I know Louie has found his way to heaven and will now keep watch over all those he loved.
I am so saddened to hear about Louis’s passing. He was such a warm hearted and funny person. I am sending love and my deepest condolences to the entire family. May he rest in peace, no longer suffering, and live through the years of wonderful memories you all have of times and laughs spent together.
